Terms & Conditions

Packaging and handling are extremely important to me, I will take every precaution that your pottery will be handled with care and packaged with appropriate materials. I do try to recycle so some packaging for shipping may have my daughter's scribbles and drawings.

Orders will be fulfilled within 72 hours of purchasing. Please provide the correct shipping address and any additional notes. But, please be patient, I cannot control the postal service if delays occur. We do what we can, right?

If any item is delivered to you broken, please provide a photo of the piece so I could issue either a refund or replacement. If a replacement is requested, please note that each piece of pottery is unique, it may not be exactly the same item.

All sales are final, no refunds will be issued for slight imperfections that do not inhibit the functionality of the piece.

Is my mug/bowl/plate food safe?

Yes. I only use food-safe clay and glazes.

Is my pottery piece dishwasher safe?

Yes, especially if you consider your spouse to be clumsy! Handwashing is also an option of course.

Is my mug/bowl microwave/oven-safe?

Yes, but do take care to avoid thermal shock. Try reheating your coffee for 30 seconds at a time or perhaps limit reheating your soup to minute increments.

If you have a cookware piece, place it in the oven while it is pre-heating to gradually warm the piece. Try to avoid adding boiling water directly to a cold pot, warm it with water first. Also, do not put pottery directly on an open flame.

How long will a custom order take?

The entire pottery process takes a minimum of 2 - 3weeks, however, some orders may take longer depending on what's requested. I pride myself on being efficient and fulfilling orders quickly, I will provide updates and notify if any delays occur.

Sadly, my mug cracked! What can I do?

This is the saddest part of pottery. Please send me a picture of the cracked/broken pottery so I can access the breakage and advise. In extreme cases, a refund/replacement can be issued.

Hmm, online this mug looked bluer... but in person, it's more green in color. I want a refund.

That's the beauty of light and glaze variations! All photos are taken to accurately reflect glaze colors and therefore, is not considered a flaw. Glazes will have a different hue under different lighting and cannot be refunded.

Where can I buy in person so I can 'get a feel' for a mug?

Considerations

Each pottery piece is unique and handmade. Slight variations in size, color, and/or shape adds personality, embrace the imperfections! (But let's be honest, I'm a perfectionist so very few imperfections get past me!)

Overview

My refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, I can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

If any item is delivered to you broken, please provide a photo of the piece so I could issue either a refund or replacement.

All sales are final, no refunds will be issued for slight imperfections that do not inhibit the functionality of the piece.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to my error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the another item, send me an email at pottery4mama@gmail.com and send your item to: 2835 Buckridge Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45233. Please note that each piece of pottery is unique, it may not be exactly the same item.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 2835 Buckridge Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45233.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I don’t guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
